I am tempted to contact the reporters who covered this story and give them details of what I experienced trying to bring PILS to justice with the FDA in their hip pocket.

Well I may wish I hadn't, but I emailed the L A Times informing them of my own experience and offering documentation to show how the drug industry has the FDA in their hip pocket and more deaths are inevitable if something isn't done. We shall see what happens. And here I thought I had put this whole monster to bed once and for all. I was just thinking too recently about throwing out all of my papers and documents from it to put it behind me but thought "not just yet..."
I think the crux of the story as I understood it was that she had some serious depression and suicide issues way in her past.
However, is she isn't truthful with the interviewer, how are they supposed to catch it. The drug sounded like it hit everyone is some kind of way but because of her past "tendicies" toward suicide they drug amplified that particular trait.
The story wasn't so much about "religion" as the risks of doing a drug study.
Agreed, but her religion played a strong part in her volunteering for the study. Perhaps is she's worried less about "God" providing an answer for her and worried more about providing for herself, she'd be alive today.
